A note from our founder 🎅🎄

As we approach the end of a remarkable year, I want to take a moment to extend our warmest holiday wishes to you and express my sincere gratitude for your continued support.
2024 has been a transformative year for WineFi, marked by achievements that have significantly strengthened our position in the market. We are deeply honored by the trust that you—our investors and supporters—have placed in us.
Despite being in the midst of a cyclical decline in the wine markets, investor demand for this unique asset class has continued to grow, as shown by the interest we have received in our four investment syndicates: Champagne, Burgundy, Italy, and our multi-regional Fine Wine Collection. We now boast investors on every continent except Antarctica (so if you know any polar researchers looking to invest in fine wine, let us know!).
We have been fortunate to partner with some incredible companies this year. Campaigns with the likes of Alts.co, Haatch, and Darksquare Capital, as well as ongoing engagements with Splint Invest and Timeless Investments, have helped grow our audience and spread awareness of the role that fine wine can play within a portfolio.
This year also saw us receive investment from leading fine wine group Coterie Holdings, which led to CEO Michael Saunders joining our board of directors. This strategic partnership has enhanced our credibility and opened up exclusive brokerage and storage channels.
We have invested heavily in technology and data, especially in our asset selection capability. We now believe WineFi boasts the most robust quantitative analysis capability in the market—underpinned by our unique "WIS" scoring system. The launch of our new website last month was a huge milestone in elevating the WineFi brand.
We're particularly proud of the recognition we've received this year, including winning an Early-Stage Standout Award at The Great British Entrepreneurship Awards (GBEA). Our selection as finalists in both the EIS Awards and UK StartUp Awards further validates our approach.
Looking ahead to 2025, we remain committed to making investment in fine wine as seamless and cost-effective as possible. We have several exciting initiatives underway that will further enhance our platform and create more value for our investors—notably onboarding our syndicate members to our platform, allowing them to track the value of their portfolios in real time.
During this festive season, I hope you find time to relax—perhaps over a good bottle or two—and celebrate with friends and family. Your feedback, patience, and trust in WineFi have been instrumental to our success, and we are truly thankful for the opportunity to be part of your investment journey.
On behalf of everyone at WineFi, I wish you and your loved ones a joyous holiday season and a prosperous New Year filled with health, happiness, and a robust wine market bounce-back!
Callum Woodcock CEO, WineFi
